Exciting New Edition of Ja Morant’s Shoes Revealed
Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is set to return from a 25-game suspension on December 19th vs. the New Orleans Pelicans, but that date is also exciting for another reason. In an announcement from Sneaker News, it was revealed that Morant's Ja 1 "Christmas" sneakers will release December 19th as well.
Morant's new edition of the Ja 1 sneakers features several different details, and a first look was provided by Sneaker News:
While release dates are always subject to change, it's exciting to see Morant bring even more significance to December 19th. The Grizzlies star's long awaited return to the court will come that night against the Pelicans, which means it will also feature the highly anticipated matchup between Morant and his longtime friend Zion Williamson.
Williamson and Morant of course went first and second in the 2019 NBA Draft, and have electrified the NBA since their respective debuts. Injuries have unfortunately kept Williamson off the court much more than anyone anticipated, but if he is healthy and good to go on December 19th it will be a great battle.
Morant's Ja 1 sneakers have been massively popular since the first edition was released, and each new color-way sells out quickly on apps like SNKRS and others. Expected to release his Christmas shoes on December 19th, Morant has two things to look forward to that day.
