Updated Injury Report: Grizzlies vs. Hawks

The Memphis Grizzlies are looking for another win against the Atlanta Hawks

The Memphis Grizzlies are looking to stay hot as they head into Atlanta to face the Hawks on Sunday. The Grizzlies have won five-straight games, which is the longest active winning streak in the NBA. This has allowed Memphis to create a bit of separation between themselves and the third seed Sacramento Kings, but they still must keep their foot on the gas pedal in order to secure the two-seed.

The injury report for Memphis in this game looks similar to the way it has for a while now. Ja Morant is once again available, but Memphis will be without Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, Jake, LaRavia, Vince Williams Jr., and Ziaire Williams. The Hawks have a pretty clean injury report, as Jalen Johnson is the only player ruled out as of right now. Both DeAndre Hunter and Bogdan Bogdanovic are questionable for Atlanta.

As previously mentioned, the Grizzlies need to continue winning games in order to secure the second seed, because while their five-game winning streak has helped create some separation from Sacramento, the Kings are still just 1.5 games back of Memphis for that second spot in the Western Conference.

With Morant back in the mix, the Grizzlies feel really good about where things are heading. The team did well to survive in his absence, and they have looked even better since he’s been back. While it is unclear how much longer Morant will come off the bench, just having him in the mix has been huge for the Grizzlies.
