Dillon Brooks continues to make news, in the worst way possible. It was revealed by the NBA that Brooks was fined $35,000 for shoving a cameraman, but not only that, he actually injured him.

According to Jason Jackson, the Miami Heat radio play-by-play host, Brooks injured the cameraman that he shoved in the Heat's arena.

The NBA issued a statement about Brooks getting fined $35,500:

"Memphis Grizzlies guard-forward Dillon Brooks has been fined $35,000 for the unsportsmanlike act of shoving a camera person on the sideline after pursuing a loose ball, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive Vice President, Head of Basketball Operations.

Brooks' actions occurred with 2:40 remaining in the second quarter of the Grizzlies' 138-119 loss to the Miami Heat on March 15 at the Miami-Dad Arena."

Truthfully, being fined $35,000 isn't enough of a punishment for Dillon Brooks. A man who was simply doing his job has been injured for no reason, and can't work to provide for his family anymore because of him. Brooks should be paying his medical bills and should issue a public apology for his actions. It's completely unacceptable to just injure a cameraman for no reason while going after a loose ball.

With the combination of Dillon Brooks and Ja Morant, the Memphis Grizzlies have found themselves on the wrong end of the news for multiple weeks now. However, it isn't too late for the Grizzlies to create some positive news from this incident.
