In this story:

With Ja Morant serving a 25-game suspension from the NBA, the Memphis Grizzlies have started the season 0-4 in his absence. While Morant's absence is easy to point to when it comes to the Grizzlies' struggles, the star point guard its not the only key player they are without. Also down Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, and Luke Kennard, the Grizzlies are far from the team they would be at full strength.

While there is some injury misfortune for Memphis, four-straight losses is not something totally abnormal when looked at from the perspective of an 82 game season. Four-game losing streaks do happen, but this one being at the beginning of the season has gotten a lot of attention, which Grizzlies star Desmond Bane shared a strong statement about.

"I've been here almost as long as anybody else has. We've lost seven in a row, eight in a row, never at the beginning of the season, so it doesn't get as much publicity or get talked about as much, but we've been in similar situations and we've always found a way to come out of it and be better because of it. Adversity, when in it always seems like a bad thing, but once you get through it, you become stronger. It will only help us in the long run."

For Bane and the Grizzlies, they know they will get through this.
