Ja Morant Reacts to Timberwolves Player Wearing His Shoes

In this story:
As Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant counts down the games until he is eligible to return from his suspension, the point guard has slowly become more active on social media again. Taking a break from social media over the summer after his second gun video incident, Morant has been posting more on Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter), which has gotten fans more excited for his return.
Prior to Sunday night's game between the Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves, former Grizzlies forward and current Timberwolves forward Kyle Anderson was seen wearing Morant's signature Ja 1 Nike shoes. Reacting to his former teammate wearing his signature shoes, Morant shared this post:
my dawg 🤞🏾
— Ja Morant (@JaMorant) November 26, 2023
Morant's Ja 1 sneakers have become very popular not just across the NBA, but across all levels of basketball. Also very popular amongst young hoopers, Morant's shoes have been a major hit for Nike. Seeing Anderson wearing them, Morant showed love to his former teammate.
The Grizzlies have gotten off to a terrible start to the season, and many are starting to believe the return of Morant will not be enough to turn things around. While Memphis certainly has more problems than Morant can fix on his own, his return should give them a major boost not only on the court, but to their overall morale.
Having served 16 games of his 25 game suspension, Morant is getting closer to a return.
