Ja Morant Suffers Mysterious Injury Before Grizzlies vs. Nuggets Game

In this story:
While he is being listed as available for Friday night's game between the Denver Nuggets and Memphis Grizzlies, Ja Morant will be wearing a face mask for what the team is calling a nasal fracture.
It is unclear when Morant suffered this injury, as there was no real indication of a blow to the face in Wednesday's win over the Rockets, but he will indeed be masked up for this game against Denver.
The good news for Memphis, is that this injury does not take Morant out of the lineup. While it is unexpected to see Morant suffer a nasal fracture, he will at least attempt to play through it, which is great news. The Grizzlies have been playing well lately, winning their last three games, and want to keep that momentum alive.
The Sacramento Kings have been in hot pursuit of the 2nd seed for a while now, and have made legitimate ground on the Grizzlies with their current stretch of play as well. Winners of their last four games, the Kings are now just two games back of Memphis, putting pressure on the Grizzlies to continue their good play as well.
In the same way the Grizzlies are still looking over their shoulder at Sacramento, they also have their sights on Denver, who has not completely run away with the top seed. Having beaten the Nuggets just a few games ago, the Grizzlies are only four losses behind Denver, and could pull even closer with a win tonight.
