Former Memphis Grizzlies player Danny Green recently revealed during a podcast episode that people were contacting him in an attempt to reach Ja Morant after the star point guard's latest gun incident.

"It was concerning," Green said. "A lot of people, not just in the basketball world or on the court, but in the media world, were asking me to reach out to him. Like, you know, what's his number? Stephen A. [Smith] came to me like, 'How can I get in touch with him, talk to him?' People were concerned, rightfully so."

Green spoke on the pressure Morant likely feels, and how that could be contributing to his poor decision making off the court. As is the case with most people, especially those who know Morant personally, Green wants to see the young star get back on track. There is an evident level of concern amongst those who have followed Morant closely or know him personally.

Green added that he has reached out to Morant but has not yet heard back; however, according to Green, that's not abnormal, as the Grizzlies guard usually responds within a few days. While Morant and the Grizzlies await an official suspension from the NBA, the hope is that Morant will finally learn from this latest incident. With two gun videos in as many months for Morant, the NBA will likely be handing out a lengthy suspension.
