Luka Doncic Makes History vs. Memphis Grizzlies

In this story:
Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic recorded his 147th career 30-point game on Monday night vs. the Memphis Grizzlies. This broke a tie with NBA legend Carmelo Anthony for the 9th most 30-point games in NBA history by a player 25 years old or younger, per Basketball Reference's StatHead.
Still just 24 years old, Doncic appears on several lists like this, as his greatness at such a young age has been rivaled by few others in league history. Next up on this list is Tracy McGrady at 153, who Doncic will certainly pass soon.
Averaging over 31 PPG on the season, Doncic is getting 30-point games with ease, and could end up near the very top of this list by the time he no longer qualifies. The most 30-point games in NBA history by a player 25 years old or young is of course LeBron James, who turned in 242 such games before his 26th birthday.
More importantly than Doncic's individual play this season has been the impressive play of his team. The Mavericks have been one of the best teams in the Western Conference to start the season, and while Doncic is of course the biggest reason why, they have several others who are stepping up in big ways as well.
With another incredible performance vs. the Grizzlies on Monday, Doncic made NBA history.
