NFL Legend Shares Honest Message for Ja Morant After Gun Video

In this story:
Ja Morant will be taking time away from the Memphis Grizzlies after flashing a gun during an Instagram live video. The video has gone viral, and the Memphis Grizzlies have already announced that Morant will not be joining the team on their trip to Los Angeles where they will face the Clippers and Lakers.
Morant himself also released a statement that read, "I take full responsibility for my actions last night. I'm sorry to my family, teammates, coaches, fans, partners, the city of Memphis, and the entire Grizzlies organization for letting you down. I'm going to take some time away to get help and work on learning better methods of dealing with stress and my overall well-being."
People around the league have been weighing in on the situation, and one of the latest major figures to share their thoughts is NFL legend Dez Bryant who posted a message for Morant:
"if you know and love @JaMorant put your arms around him and tell him the truth… Ja you got a special ability them other n****s around you don’t.. you are special boss.. f*ck that dumb sh*t… make peace with whatever problems you are dealing with and elevate.. all love on this… pic.twitter.com/NDeNib4PSO

It was a deep message from Bryant, who urged Morant to consider all of the young kids that look up to him. While it can be tough to take on the responsibility of being a role model for the youth, players of Morant's caliber will always have young kids who look up to them. This brings a level of responsibility that Morant has handled poorly with this latest incident, but the hope is that he learns from it and is able to avoid similar mistakes as he gets older.
