WATCH: Grizzlies Coach Goes on NSFW Rant After Jazz Loss

In this story:
The Memphis Grizzlies fell to 1-8 with a loss to the Utah Jazz on Friday night, and head coach Taylor Jenkins went off on the officiating crew in a NSFW rant after the game:
"One of the most poorly officiated games I have ever seen," Jenkins said. "Record it, I'm fine with it. F--king atrocious... [Jaren Jackson Jr. is] one of the most professional players in this league, and gets a double technical foul. The excuse I get is that he's charging at an official. It's called de-escalation. 29 free throws to 13. And I'm not that coach. You can go back in history, I've done this one other time. Our team is competing their asses off. Competing their asses off. And this is what happens? The interactions right now with the officials, complete disrespect. I know what's coming. It's unbelievable the looks on the faces when I'm trying to defend our guys that are busting their tail right now."

Jenkins will of course get fined for this, which he is prepared for, but it's something he felt was well worth it given the way this game went. Not holding back at all on the officiating crew, Jenkins went off for the way they called the game and the way they handled themselves when approached by players and coaches.
The Grizzlies play next against the LA Clippers on Sunday.
