WATCH: Ja Morant-Derrick Rose Video Goes Viral

In this story:
While he has not been very active on social media this summer after second his gun video incident, Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has been back on Twitter to celebrate his team's moves in free agency. Reacting to the Derrick Rose singing, Morant shared his excitement to play with the veteran guard. Morant also retweeted a viral video of he and Rose, which shows a side-by-side view of nearly identical alley-oop dunks the two had:

This is really cool to see, as Morant has often drawn comparisons to prime Rose due to his athleticism and highlight reel plays. Rose should be able to teach Morant a lot next season, which is one of the reasons the Grizzlies brought him in. The team feels Rose can not only serve as a depth piece in their backcourt, but also a much needed veteran presence on a team that has multiple young stars.
While Rose did not play much for the Knicks last season, he was beloved by his teammates and the organization, which is the type of person this Grizzlies group needs. There should be a role on the court for Rose while Morant serves his 25-game suspension, but even if his minutes are limited, his voice in the locker room should be of great value for Memphis.
Morant is clearly excited about the addition, which is already a win for the Grizzlies.
