WATCH: Marcus Smart Yells at Grizzlies Teammates

In this story:
The Memphis Grizzlies lost again on Sunday, falling to an abysmal 3-13 on the season. While they are very shorthanded with Ja Morant being suspended and several others being injured, the Grizzlies still expected to have a much better record than the one they currently have right now.
One of the injured Grizzlies players is veteran guard Marcus Smart, who was acquired from the Boston Celtics over the offseason. While Smart is not able to be out there on the court, he is still very much engaged in the game, and gave his teammates a passionate speech during their loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Seen yelling at his teammates on the bench, Smart could be heard telling them their effort was embarrassing, which he certainly has the right to say. One of the hardest working players in the league, Smart was brought to Memphis for that veteran leadership every single night. While Memphis is missing him on the court, it’s clear Smart is still having an impact while sidelined.
It will be interesting to see how the Grizzlies respond to this message from Smart, because while they did not win on Sunday, they have a few days off until their next game against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. In between now and that game, the Grizzlies will have an opportunity to regroup and come out with a better effort on their home floor.
