Here's a look back at how things played out during the regular season:

Oct. 27 at Boston: Celtics 119, Heat 111

The Celtics have Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown but it was Derrick White on this night. He scored 28 points, including five 3-pointers, to help his team rally to victory. It was their first meeting since last season's Eastern Conference finals. Brown and Tatum did combine for 49 points, but White was the X-factor.

The Heat were led by Tyler Herro's 28 points.

Jan. 25 at Miami: Celtics 143, Heat 110

In a rare blowout in this series, Tatum had 26 points to lead the Celtics to the easy win. It was the most lopsided game between the teams. Boston had five players score in double-figures, including Kristaps Porzingis' 19 points.

Herro and Bam Adebayo each had 19 points in the defeat.

“It was a humbling night," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "That's for sure. They put us in our place tonight.”

Feb. 11 at Boston: Celtics 110, Heat 106

Tatum helped complete the sweep with 26 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists.

After trailing by 15 in the third quarter, the Heat pulled to within 106-104 late in the fourth but the Celtics closed it out with free throw shooting. Tyler Herro's 24 points led the Heat, who were playing without Jimmy Butler because he was attending the funeral of a family member.
