Dwyane Wade Waiting For Anticipated Caitlin Clark-Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers-JuJu Watkins Matchups Tonight

It's safe to say most of the world knows what Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade is doing this evening.

Like so many sports fans, Wade is preparing for one of the most highly-anticipated nights in NCAA women's basketball history. The Elite Eight features Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes taking on the Angel Reese-led LSU Tigers. The other game is Paige Bueckers of UConn facing freshman JuJu Watkins and the USC Trojans.

Wade took to social media just to show how hyped he is about the matchup. He posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, "It’s only 11am PT!?? If I close my eyes and take a nap. How fast will 4:15 come."

Both games showcase four of the best players in the country but there are other factors for the anticipation. Reese and Clark have ties that go back to last year's Final when LSU defeated Iowa. A national controversy was started when Reese waived her hand in Clark's face as a taunt in the closing seconds.

Fans felt it was disrespectful because the Tigers were already comfortably ahead. Now, they meet again with a berth in the Final Four on the line.

Bueckers and Watkins have no history but the matchup is just as intriguing. Watkins, who has USC in the Elite Eight for the first time since 1994, has the opportunity to take down Bueckers and the storied UConn program. The Huskies are going for their 23rd trip to the Final Four.

So all eyes, including Wade, are on those four players tonight.
