How Miami Heat's Twitter Reacted To Friday's Win Over Houston Rockets

The Miami Heat balance out the scoring in their victory over the Houston Rockets.

It's been 20 games since Tyler Herro has seen the court.

So what better way to return than against he's had the most success against? The Miami Heat cruised to victory against the Houston Rockets Friday night for the fifth win in their last seven games.

Herro returned to the lineup with 17 points on 50 percent shooting with five rebounds and six assists in just 25 minutes off the bench. While it wasn't the star performance Herro seemingly always has against Houston, it was certainly enough to satisfy fans in the victory.

Herro's absence had some talking about trading him. Well it's safe to say there are even more rejecting this narrative and highlighting his importance to the team.

The outpour of support for Herro dominated Heat Twitter all night.

"Good to have 14 back," user HeatCulture said. "He’s much better off the bench and looked good in his first game in over a month. Good win tonight, we have to win on Sunday."

Bam Adebayo had a well-rounded game as well with 18 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler led Miami in scoring with 22 points.

The Miami Heat keep pace for the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference, still just a half game behind the Indiana Pacers. It seems like this statement has been uttered for months, as Miami has tiptoed this line between being a play-in team or clinching an automatic postseason ticket.
