How Miami Heat's Twitter Reacted To Sunday's Win Over The Washington Wizards

Terry Rozier has breakout game in Miami Heat's blowout victory.

Well, the Miami Heat did what they needed to do.

Instead of another embarrassing loss to the Washington Wizards, they handled business with a convincing victory Sunday night.

Terry Rozier had arguably his best performance in a Heat jersey with 27 points on 58 percent shooting with four rebounds and four steals. These are the type of games fans hope he can replicate in the postseason to aid Jimmy Butler as a potential No. 2 option.

Bam Adebayo added another star performance to his All-Star season with 22 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. His two-way playmaking is something Miami needs him to continue going forward.

"Terry Rozier getting his shot back, Duncan hitting big 3s and improving the spacing, Bam playing like a captain, and Haywood continuing to shine as a player," user Floridian said. "These next two games are crucial for us. Keep the momentum going."

There was also some praise for veteran guard Delon Wright, who came off the bench with nine points, four steals and four assists.

The Heat need to stack these victories going forward to climb out of the play-in tournament. Last year, they escaped and made a miraculous Finals run but they are unlikely to replicate that this time around. It's better that they get comfortable seeding to have a better chance of repeating as Eastern Conference champions. They play the New York Knicks (44-30) Tuesday night.
