NBA Top Performances, Feb. 11: Joel Embiid Had Another Big Game In Sixers Win Against Brooklyn Nets

Joel Embiid had a monster 37-point performance against the Brooklyn Nets to lift the Philadelphia 76ers. Embiid accounted for more than 35 percent of the Sixers’ total points.

-NBA fans witnessed the first Mavericks game with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving playing together.
But De’Aaron Fox and the Sacramento Kings spoiled their debut.
Fox had 36 points Saturday night, including 14 in overtime, to lead the Kings to victory. He made 12 of 14 from the foul line, icing the game with six free throws in the final 18 seconds. The recently-named All-Star had his second clutch performance in the last three games.
The Kings are on the verge of ending a 16-year playoff drought. They are third in the Western Conference.
- Nikola Jokic’s triple-double helped lead the Nuggets to victory without Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray. Jokic had 30 points, 16 rebounds and 10 assists against the Charlotte Hornets.
- Jalen Brunson’s 38-point night helped the Knicks get the win against the Utah Jazz. Brunson, who just missed his first All-Star berth, is averaging 31 points in February.
- Dennis Schroder stepped up for the Lakers in the absence of LeBron James. Schroder finished the game with a team-leading 26 points against the Golden State Warriors. It was one of his highest-scoring performances of the season.
