Rihanna Super Bowl Halftime Show Draws Cheers From LeBron James, Dwyane Wade And Jeers From Others
Former Miami Heat stars LeBron James and Dwyane Wade paid their respects to singer Rihanna after her performance Sunday during halftime of the Super Bowl.
And then there were others who thought it was among the worst in the history of the event. There were plenty mixed reactions about the mini-concert at intermission of the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
James showed his appreciation for the R & B star on Twitter. He tweeted, "Rih got so many killer tracks" followed by several fire and applause emojis.
Wade, who played with James in Miami from 2010-14, followed suit by calling Rihanna "iconic."
Not everyone felt the same. Some questioned if Rihanna was pregnant during the performance while others criticized her for appearing the lip sync throughout, saying it failed to compare to halftime acts of the past.
