Udonis Haslem On Paul Pierce Beef: "I'm Gonna Leave That Alone Before I Hurt You"
Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem has feuded with former NBA star Paul Pierce for the past several years.
Haslem recently said he's ready to move forward from the beef before it gets too serious. During an episode of his The OG Podcast with former teammate Mike Miller, Haslem once again addressed Pierce.
"My daddy didn't raise no punk and I don't play no games," Haslem said. "I'm with all that. What I'm going to do is I'm going to disconnect from that situation. I don't play like that."
Haslem, who had issues with Pierce since the 2010 season, refused to even mention his name because he's so done with the situation.
"I'm gonna spare you because I know you ain't like that," Haslem said, referring to Pierce.
The latest chapter of this longstanding rivalry stems from Pierce saying the Boston Celtics-Heat rivalry from the 2010s wasn't as intense as Haslem previously suggested. Pierce was also critical of the Heat retiring Haslem's jersey earlier this season.
It just appears Haslem would rather this "feud" just die before it reaches another level. At this point, it's probably best for both parties to just leave this in the past.
"I'm gonna leave that alone before I hurt you," Haslem said. "And I mean that."
