Brooklyn Nets' Ben Simmons Out Saturday Against Miami Heat

The Brooklyn Nets announced Ben Simmons will be out indefinitely with back injury that was diagnosed as nerve infringement.
Simmons wasn't expected to play in Saturday's game against the Heat.

VITALS: The Miami Heat and Nets meet for the third and final matchup this regular season. So far this season, Brooklyn has won both contests. Last season, Miami won the series, 3-1, and has won four of the last six at home against the Nets. The Heat are 78-57 all-time versus the Nets during the regular season, including 42-24 in home games and 36-33 in road games. For the Heat, Kyle Lowry (knee) and Caleb Martin (knee) are questionable and Cody Zeller (nose), Jamal Cain (G League) and Nikola Jovic (back) are out. For the Nets, Ben Simmons (back) and Seth Curry (personal reasons) are out.
