Eastern Conference Recaps, May 5: Balanced Boston Celtics Led By Jayson Tatum Take 2-1 Lead Against Philadelphia 76ers

The Boston Celtics have the NBA's top duo in Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.
Just in case either have a bad game the remainder of the season, their teammates let them they have their backs. Jayson Tatum had 27 points and Brown added 23 but it was a balanced effort that helped the Celtics to a 114-102 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers Friday in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
The Celtics now lead the best-of-7 series 2-1.
Tatum and Brown received help from Al Horford (17 points), Marcus Smart (15), Malcolm Brogdon (15) and Derrick White (13) in holding off MVP Joel Embiid.
He led the Sixers with 30 points, 13 rebounds and three assists. It was his most effective game since returning from a knee injury in Game 2. He didn't as much assistance from his teammates, with the starting backcourt of James Harden and Tyrese Maxey shooting a combined 7 of 30 from the field.
