Frustrations Mounting For Miami Heat During Losing Streak

In this story:
The Miami Heat have no one to blame but themselves.
A week ago, they were in control of their destiny in terms of avoiding the play-in tournament. Now, they are in danger falling short of the No. 6 seed.
The Heat have lost three straight and are 1.5 games back of the Brooklyn Nets.
"Losing is what got us here," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "None of us feels good about it. This is where we are. You are what your record is. You are what has happened recently but things can change quickly. Once we beat New York on our home court, things felt great and then things can suddenly change quickly going the other way. We have a big game Saturday. We will regroup, knowing that the momentum can shift."

The Heat have a chance to stop reeling Saturday against the Dallas Mavericks. The recent string is just a continuation of what has been an up-and-down season.
"Our guys have been embracing the struggle," Spoelstra said. "There hasn't been anything easy about the season. Sometimes, seasons go like that. The resolve is there and it may not feel like it right now to everybody on the outside but our group feels that we can beat anybody any place anywhere any time and we just have to do it. Our group is built on competitiveness."
