How Miami Heat’s Twitter Reacted To Max Strus And Gabe Vincent Departing

In this story:
Free agency tends to get fans a bit emotional saying goodbye to former players. The newest wave was from Miami Heat fans bidding farewell to Max Strus and Gabe Vincent.
Max was so confusing. Some days he’ll be a solidified Heat legend, and others he’d be a net negative human. He’s a heat legend regardless because of the play-in game though.

Wish him the best in Cleveland unless it’s against the Heat
Hope to see him back in a heat Jersey one more time in the future

Vincent and Strus were the starting backcourt for Miami this postseason. Their inconsistent play frustrated the fanbase at times, with some calling for them to be benched or removed. But now that this time has come, fans expressed admiration for their contributions. Strus’ 31-point performance against the Chicago Bulls helped Miami stave off elimination. Meanwhile, Vincent was arguably the best player outside of Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler.
The Heat hope to replace their production with Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard. However, the trade has largely stalled because of the Heat’s trade offers. Many teams are putting together packages for the seven-time All-Star with attractive proposals. Unfortunately, Lillard does not have a no-trade clause in his contract, so it is solely up to the organization to decide his next team.
But at this moment, fans temporarily turned off their “Lillard to the Heat” notifications to grant gratitude toward Vincent and Strus.
