Miami Heat's Jaime Jaquez And Sister Gabriela Jaquez Partner With Electrolit

In this story:
Basketball star siblings Jaime and Gabriela Jaquez are diving into a new partnership together.
The tandem recently announced they are signing as Electrolit athletes. The partnership promises an array of engaging activations set to unfold across Miami and Los Angeles in 2024. Additionally, Electrolit will support the Jaquez siblings in their endeavors to refurbish basketball courts in underserved communities in the Los Angeles area.
The UCLA star shared her excitement through her favorite parts of the brand.
"Electrolit is synonymous with helping athletes perform at their best. I’ve been drinking Electrolit’s Strawberry Kiwi flavor since forever, so this means so much to become an official partner," Gabriela Jaquez said. "With the demands of basketball, I’m excited for the brand to join us on our journey, giving us 360 access to the proper hydration needed to excel."
Meanwhile, the Heat rookie is ready to jumpstart his journey with the brand. Jaquez explained how it's important to fuel his body in the proper way in order to compete at the highest level.
"Proper hydration is an integral part of our training plan. If we aren’t feeling our best, it’s hard to really reach peak performance. Electrolit offers all we need from a hydration and electrolyte standpoint and is my go-to both on and off the court," Jaquez stated. "Basketball is ingrained into mine and Gabriela’s DNA—the sport has always been a big part of our family. My parents and grandparents taught us the tricks of the trade, and have always instilled in us the importance of fueling your body in the right way."
He went on to further discuss how the company's 'Mexican roots' impacted the decision.
"As a Mexican-American, we are giving a nod to Electrolit as a brand with Mexican roots, but most importantly how the team will be supporting us in our on and off-court endeavors. Beyond providing reliable and quick hydration, their support of the Jaquez Family Scholarship means so much to us, as they join our mission to provide educational opportunities for young people in our communities," Jaquez concluded.
