James Harden Situation Is Why Trail Blazers Should Ship Damian Lillard To Miami Heat

In this story:
If the Portland Trail Blazers were smart, they would just trade Damian Lillard to the Miami Heat soon as possible.
Or else they could face a similar situation the Philadelphia 76ers are dealing with right now. After recently saying they want to move forward with their current roster, disgruntled guard James Harden publicly criticized team owner Daryl Morey Sunday.
“Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of," Harden told reporters at a press conference. "Let me say that again: Daryl Morey is a liar and I will never be a part of an organization that he’s a part of.”
Harden made it clear all summer he wants out of Philadelphia because he believes there championship window has closed. It is the same thing Lillard told the Trail Blazers when he requested a trade July 1.

The Blazers should just make the deal with the Heat to avoid any controversy. This way, there will be no bad blood with their beloved superstar. Then both parties can move on. It would be a win-win situation for the Blazers and Lillard ... and, of course, the Heat.
