Miami Heat's Kevin Love Celebrates His 35th Birthday Today

In this story:
Miami Heat veteran Kevin Love turns 35 today.
Love's time with the Heat has been short, but much appreciated by the fans. His playmaking was an underrated part of the Heat's Finals run. The fullcourt assists and hustle plays were key parts of Miami's transformation after the All-Star break.
The Heat signed Love to improve their size and rebounding, two areas they struggled in last season. Love starting as the power forward gave Caleb Martin back on the bench as a wing, putting him back in the position he excelled. He averaged 7.7 points and 5.7 rebounds during the regular season, with 6.9 points and 5.6 rebounds in the postseason. These statistics don't show the effort he gave to aid Miami upon his signing.
Love's best days are behind him, but he can still contribute to Miami and add to his resume for Hall of Fame consideration. He may not be first ballot, but a championship and five All-Star selections has him edging into the conversation. Another ring could possibly elevate his eligibility.
But for now, let's just celebrate Love's birthday and his contributions to Miami.
