Miami Heat's Omer Yurtseven Will Get More Minutes With Cody Zeller Sidelined

In this story:
The Miami Heat will be without center Cody Zeller for at least a few more games after he sustained a broken nose against the Orlando Magic last Saturday.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra provided an injury update after Wednesday's victory against the Memphis Grizzlies.
"Cody won't be able to get his procedure until the next couple days," Spoelstra said. "He has to get the swelling down before he can do the procedure."
Zeller's absence means more playing time for center Omer Yurtseven. That is exactly what Yurtseven needs while he continues to work off the rust after missing most of the season because of preseason foot surgery.
Yurtseven made his first appearance against the Magic. In three games, he is averaging 2.3 points and 1.7 assists. The Heat are hoping he can regain last year's form when he was among the NBA's top rookies.
"O is working," Spoelstra said. "He's doing what he needs to do behind the scenes and drilling and working and preparing and watching film. There's a lot of expectations in those minutes but he'll be prepared. He'll be ready."
