Miami Heat's Tyler Herro Has Big Night In Summer Pro-Am Game

In this story:
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro was rolling on the floor in pain the last time we saw him on the basketball court.
That was in April when he broke his hand against the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals. On Friday, Herro played in his first game since the injury.
He had 44 points in a summer Pro-Am game in Miami, dazzling the crowd with jumpshots, passes and dunks.
"first time hooping since I broke my hand," Herro posted on social media. "... good runs."
Herro's performance came against a team that featured Heat center Bam Adebayo.

Even though against inferior competition, Herro gave fans a glimpse of what they missed last postseason. He was sidelined for an improbable run to the NBA Finals, where they lost to the Denver Nuggets in six games.
The fact the Heat won three series without him made some feel Herro was expendable. It's why he is the key figure in all trade talks for Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard.
Herro hasn't spoken publicly about the speculation but he's likely the key piece in any deal for Dillard.
