NBA Twitter Reacts To Keegan Murray’s 41 Point Performance Over The Miami Heat

In this story:
Many are reaping the benefits of the Summer League competition, including Sacramento Kings forward Keegan Murray. Murray had 41 points, four blocks and five rebounds in a win against the Miami Heat.
But some were a little confused why he was in this game to begin with. After all, Murray started in 78 games last season as a rookie, averaging 12.2 points on 41.1 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Perhaps the Kings want to give him more playing time after his lackluster playoff performances. He scored 10 or less points on five occasions in the opening round against the Golden State Warriors. But even then, it seemed unfair to pin an experienced player against those who’ve barely seen the floor.
I know his Summer League teammates mad he playing

I really don’t understand why he’s playing in the summer league.

Maybe this experience is good for Miami, giving them a look at their competition in the NBA. As the Heat re-group from this loss, they need to make adjustments with the scoring and turnovers. Jaime Jaquez Jr., coming off a 22-point performance on Monday, went 1 of 6 for just four points.
