LeBron James had many memorable moments when he played with the Miami Heat. 

One of them was the alley-oop dunk he slammed over Boston Celtics guard Jason Terry. It was 11 years ago today when it happened, so it's only fitting the player who threw the lob would speak on it. 

Former Heat guard Norris Cole gave his version of the play during an appearance on the Gilbert Arenas podcast. But Cole first had to explain why. 

"First of all, do you know the back story of how much trash was being talked in that series," Cole said. "Jet talked trash to LeBron a lot. He beat them. In his mind, he feel like he owned them. He can say what he want to say. He got his championship." 

Two years before, Terry was a member of the Dallas Mavericks team that upset the Heat in the NBA Finals. Terry spent most of the series jawing with James. It was time for Cole and James to get revenge. 

Cole was trying to make up for turning the ball over to Terry, who then was stripped from behind by Dwyane Wade. He then flipped a pass to Mario Chalmers, who tossed it to Cole. 

Cole then threw the ball up for James to slam over Terry. The dunk left Terry on the ground. 

"He was running full speed, so no matter who was standing there it was going to be a freight train," Cole said. "I didn't think he was going to jump."
