Paul Pierce Clarifies His Remarks Regarding Miami Heat Legend Dwyane Wade

In this story:
NBA Hall of Famer Paul Pierce felt the need to clear the air after his latest comments about Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade.
Pierce appeared to take a shot recently by suggesting Wade only won championships because he teamed with Shaquille O'Neal and LeBron James. He even said he would have accomplished the same as Wade if he had those caliber of teammates.
On Monday morning, Pierce clarified his remarks via Twitter. He said he had nothing but respect for Wade.
"I never compared myself to Dwayne wade," Pierce wrote. "I was ask a question how would u answer if u was me I would never disrespect him he is an all time great all I’m saying is the narrative surrounding me would be different if I was lucky enough to play with all timers earlier in my career same can be said about Tracy mcgrady Vince Carter melo Allen iverson the narrative would definitely be different is his resume better ofcourse but this not about me comparing myself to him it’s just Goat players out there where the narrative would be different if given same type of teammates grant hill Chris Webber is all I’m saying d wade much respect that’s not what I’m on."
