Skip Bayless Makes A Rare Defense Of LeBron James Because Of Draymond Green Podcast Comments

Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless has made a career off criticizing LeBron James the past 15 years, including during his time with the Miami Heat. 

On Thursday, Bayless a rarity happened. 

Bayless was in defense mode after Draymond Green made critical comments of James earlier this week on his podcast. Green said he was "very shocked" that James looked "gassed" in the Los Angeles Lakers' play-in victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves. 

 "It's offensive to me," Bayless said Thursday on "Undisputed." "That's stepping out of bounds as your new media. He's trying to sell himself. I can see it from the inside out. I give you that. Now are you taking advantage to the point that you're going to comment from inside out critically of an opponent." 

Bayless said he felt it was out of line because the teams could meet later in the postseason. Green has one of the most popular podcast. 

"It felt out of bounds to me because LeBron does not deserve that from Draymond," Bayless said. "... By the way, the Lakers prevailed. However they prevailed, they won the game. It's not like LeBron deserves the blame for a loss because they lived to lived to tell. They're going on." 

Anyway, expect Bayless to return to his LeBron-bashing ways in the coming days.
