The Kristaps Porzingis Acquisition By Boston Celtics Could Make Things More Difficult For Miami Heat

In this story:
After the Eastern Conference Finals loss to the Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics required reinforcements by agreeing to trade for Washington Wizards center Kristaps Porzingis.
The three-team trade also involved the Memphis Grizzlies. The deal includes the Celtics acquiring Porzingis while sending Marcus Smart to the Grizzlies. The Wizards receive Grizzlies guard Tyus Jones.
The addition adds to the Celtics' championship hopes, making things more difficult for the Heat next season. Porzingis paired with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown gives Boston, already a contender, a powerful Big Three.

That trio puts pressure on the Heat to make an acquisition to keep pace. Although Miami team president Pat Riley told reporters he is not interested in going after a superstar, making some offseason moves may be needed after the Porzingis trade.
Last season the Heat made the NBA Finals despite no offseason acquisitions. Not sure they can afford that luxury now that the Celtics are reloaded, making this summer more important for the Heat.
