Butler's vibrant personality is one of the features fans admire about him.
Butler averaged 26.9 points, 6.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists in his 22 playoff games. His production dwindled as the postseason developed. The statistical dip can be attributed to an ankle injury he suffered against the New York Knicks. However, Butler acknowledged his underperformances and their detrimental effects on the team.
“My ankle’s fine, we just didn’t win,” Butler said after the Game 5 loss to the Denver Nuggets. “There’s no excuse, they just beat us.”
Butler can use this time to heal up and regroup for next year. The Heat are already linked to players like Damian Lillard and Fred VanVleet.
But for now, we can just enjoy more of Butler’s hilarious off-court moments.
