What Does It Mean Seeing Miami Heat Kyle Lowry With Blazers Coach Chauncey Billups? Absolutely Nothing

In this story:
Every little thing possible this offseason has made its way to being linked to the Miami Heat and Damian Lillard.
On Saturday, an innocent meeting of Heat guard Kyle Lowry and Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups got fans talking. Lowry and Billups sat together during the Colorado-Colorado State football game.
Billups has ties because he played for the Buffaloes in college. Still, a photo captured of them together immediately started speculation of Lowry perhaps being part of the deal for Lillard, who requested a trade to the Heat in early July.

Lowry could play a role in the Heat acquiring Lillard but most likely not through a trade. The Heat have the option of waiving Lowry to create more space for Lillard.
If anything, the Lowry-Billups reunion was able to take some of the attention off Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders. After winning one game last season, Colorado is the talk of college football after a 3-0 start.
