The Damian Lillard saga between the Miami Heat and Portland Trail Blazers has now lasted for nearly two months.

Trail Blazers beat writer Aaron Fentress said on a social media post that it's time for the Trail Blazers and Lillard to move on from another. There is no chance of Lillard playing again in Portland since he requested a trade in early July.

"This marriage is over," Fentress wrote. "Sign the divorce papers already so everyone can get on with their lives."

Lillard even responded to one Trail Blazers fan on the post. The fan apparently was siding with Portland general manager Joe Cronin's handling of the situation.

Lillard's response was quick and to the point, with him simply saying "Just dumb." Most NBA fans are just ready for all of this to end with Lillard being traded to the Heat. Training camp is less than a month away.
