Video: James Borrego on defensive impact on the Hornets' rotation

James Borrego has emphasized defense from the beginning of the season.

After the Hornets lost to the Utah Jazz on Saturday at the Spectrum Center 114-107, Charlotte head coach James Borrego was asked about how much a player's skills on defense impact their role in the rotation.

The Hornets are 24th in defensive rating this season.

Per @bball_ref, the Hornets have given up the most dunks this year with 178 slams by opponents. That’s 13 more than second-place Golden State. The Hornets have also allowed 453 lay-ups, which is the most in the league and two more than the Hawks. #AllFly
