Hornets Pummeled in Milwaukee

In this story:
MILWAUKEE, WI - The Charlotte Hornets closed out the four-game road swing with a lackluster performance, falling to the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 123-85.
This game felt eerily similar to the other loss on the road trip to Golden State where the Hornets were in a funk offensively from the jump and were never able to get rolling.
Milwaukee's length really bothered the Hornets on both ends of the floor, but particularly on the offensive end. There weren't many uncontested shots and that length just made the flow of the offense look disjointed.
The superstar duo of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard had an efficient night, combining for 47 points on 14/27 shooting. Bobby Portis Jr. had a big night off the bench, chipping in 21 points to go along with eight rebounds.
Best of the Night: Nothing
We'll keep this short and sweet. There's no use in trying to put lipstick on this pig. Just an all-around bad performance from the Hornets. Now, it's time to head back to the Queen City and look to find some answers before facing these very Bucks again in less than 48 hours.
Worst of the Night: Everything
We'll get to the offense in a minute below - it was horrendous. But the defense was arguably the most surprising aspect of this one. The Hornets entered the game as the NBA's No. 1 team in defensive rating since the All-Star break and tonight, that didn't hold true. Milwaukee had their way in the paint, nearly doubling the Hornets inside while also shooting a crisp 40% from three.
Stat of the Night: A new-ish record
Tonight, the Hornets posted just 26 points in the first half which is a season-low across the NBA. The previous low? 29 points, set by you guessed it... the Hornets... four days ago.
