Jazz-Pistons Injury Report: Utah Continues Streak of Good Health
After beginning the new year on a high note, the Utah Jazz have the opportunity to win their second straight of the new year on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons. In a matchup that will be their second and last of the season with each other, Utah is looking to run a simple 2-0 season series sweep tonight.
Thankfully, it looks like the Jazz will continue to be 100% in 2024, with no entries within their pre-game injury report. Outside of their typical G-League/two-way assignments, expect everyone down the roster to be ready to play in this one:
Utah Jazz:
Taylor Hendricks- QUESTIONABLE (G-League)
Brice Sensabaugh- QUESTIONABLE (G-League)
Josh Christopher- OUT (G-League)
Johnny Juzang- OUT (G-League)
Micah Potter- OUT (G-League)
Detroit Pistons:
Isaiah Stewart- OUT (toe)
Monte Morris- OUT (quadriceps)
The Pistons, on the other hand, suffer from a couple of injuries that will sideline two players against the Jazz. Isaiah Stewart is dealing with a toe sprain he suffered at the tail end of December, set for re-evaluation in around two weeks. Monte Morris will also be inactive after being inactive since November with a quad strain.
This game comes with a bit less pressure for the Jazz than their last matchup against Detroit presented. After winning last Friday against the Toronto Raptors, their extensive and historic 28-game losing streak has finally come to an end, avoiding any chance of Utah being on the wrong side of history here.
By possessing a healthy set of players as opposed to their first game against this team, the Jazz should be expected to come out with a convincing win on their home floor. Tip-off between Utah and Detroit is set for 7 PM MT in the Delta Center.
