One of the newest additions for the Utah Jazz has discussed some lofty expectations moving forward with his career, that being F John Collins. After being dealt over the summer from the Atlanta Hawks, the 26-year-old wants to change the narrative this season.

On Sirius XM NBA Radio, Collins was talking about his upcoming year for the Jazz, where he voiced his desire to reach Hall of Fame status by the end of his playing career:

“I feel like I can just take the next step in my journey as a basketball player, growing a little bit. It comes with making more decisions, having more responsibility on and off the ball, and I feel like it just allows me to grow into that player that’s taking that next to becoming a superstar. I want to be a Hall of Fame player, so just trying to develop."

The Jazz forward is off to a solid start to his 7th season pro, coming off a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds in his debut against the Sacramento Kings. However, it will take a lot more from Collins to continue to move up the ladder of all-time NBA players.

Collins and Utah will take on the Los Angeles Clippers next on Friday, October 27th, where he will look to build off an eye-catching first performance
