Jazz NBA Lottery Odds, Top Options in 2023 Revealed

In this story:
The day of the much anticipated 2023 NBA lottery has finally arrived. The Utah Jazz will get closure on where their lottery pick will land for the first time since participating in the event back in 2016.
If Utah gets the No. 1 pick, it will be the first time in the history of the franchise. The overwhelming favorite to be the first pick in the 2023 NBA draft is 7-foot-4 forward Victor Wembanyama out of France. It will be a game-changer for one lucky franchise, but the consolation prizes in a loaded draft class have the potential to make big impacts in 2023-24.
Scoot Henderson, Brandon Miller, Amen Thompson, and Cam Whitmore are all players that would start for the Jazz in Year 1. The most likely scenario is for Utah to be picking No. 9 (50.7 %) or 10 (25.9%). The odds of landing in the top four is 20.2%, with a 4.5% of taking the top spot.
Utah will be represented by point guard Collin Sexton, who apparently will be bringing a good luck charm.
"I'm very, very excited to be representing the team at the NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday," Sexton said via Jazz Twitter. "I will be bringing some special two-dollar bills here and there because I remember a tradition that my grandma and my great-grandma used to do is give two-dollar bills on birthdays as well as Christmas as a sign of good luck. So I'll have a few of them in my pocket so we can get a great, great draft pick."
This year's lottery draft will be held at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago with a start time of 6:00 MDT on ESPN.
