As the FIBA World Cup begins to unfold, players across the league are beginning to join their teams to compete for the gold. Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson is among those players, as he’s now arrived in Manila, Philippines to join his national team.

JC will join another fan favorite Kai Sotto on the Philippines’ roster going into the tournament in what will be the country’s third-consecutive FIBA World Cup appearance. The team is set to face off against the likes of Angola, Italy, and the Dominican Republic in Group A of the tournament.

"It’s great, it’s amazing. I think we got a good chance to do some things, hopefully win some games I'm just excited to be with the team again."

Clarkson’s coming off a career season with the Jazz averaging 20.8 points, 4 rebounds, and 4.4 assists. He’ll look to continue to produce at this high level into this summer’s World Cup for the Philippines. However, with other Jazz members such as Lauri Markkanen, Walker Kessler, and Kelly Olynyk competing alongside him, it will be far from an easy task.
