Jazz Provide Medical Update on Jordan Clarkson After Loss vs. Thunder

In this story:
To start the 2023-24 NBA season, the Utah Jazz have found themselves as a substantial victim of the injury bug. Headlined by All-Star forward Lauri Markkanen missing his last eight games with a hamstring strain, along with Walker Kessler being out for some time early on with a shoulder injury, things have not come easy in Salt Lake City.
Unfortunately for Jazz fans, those health concerns are only continuing:
According to the team's X account on Monday, Jordan Clarkson suffered a hamstring strain in their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, effectively sidelining him for the next two weeks:
Considering the team was forced without Markkanen, Kessler, and even John Collins in their most recent game, this news comes in an untimely manner. With the Jazz hoping to find some stability and consistency now mid-way through the season, it’s tough to do when four of your five starters are out of the lineup.
It puts more responsibility on other guards in the rotation to step up like rookie Keyonte George and Collin Sexton. After Keyonte’s 30-point and seven-assist outing against the Thunder, he may be capable of leading this offensive unit to success even while shorthanded.
The Jazz’s next chance to get back in the win column comes on Wednesday when the New York Knicks travel to the Delta Center to tip off at 7 PM MT.
