As if we are not already aware of how potentially impactful Keyonte George can be for the Utah Jazz moving forward, he keeps giving us more reason to look forward to October.

George recently talked about how he sees his role developing in his NBA career and what unique qualities he can provide for the Jazz. In an interview with Bryan Calbrosky of USA Today, George claimed that both his scoring and passing abilities are the factors that stand out the most in his game.

"I’m able to score at all three levels, whether it’s finishing over length, getting to the midrange pull-up or the floaters or my trey ball. I feel like that is a part of my game that translates really well and then also my passing. I’m just continuing with film, getting better at knowing what shots I’m going to take and what shots I’m going to have, and what reads to make with a pass. I’m understanding those types of things and taking that next jump mentally with the game.

I feel like everything will come together

It cannot be a shock for Jazz fans to hear Keyonte has both great confidence and skill in scoring and distributing the basketball.

During his inspiring yet cut-short Summer League campaign in Vegas, George had performances posting stat lines like 33 points and ten assists, another with 26 points and seven assists. While these likely will not be quite the stats we see Keyonte enter the league averaging (even though that would be pretty sick), it does indeed back up his statements.

Pairing the offensively-gifted George into an already exciting backcourt with guys like Jordan Clarkson, Collin Sexton, and Ochai Agbaji, there is a ton to like when how versatile and deep this team could be in 2023.

While fans will now have to wait until training camps/pre-season to get a better look at George after his Summer League ankle injury, it will all be worth it by the start of the season.
