In this story:

Tonight’s the night. The Utah Jazz regular season is finally upon us, opening the year against the Sacramento Kings at home in the Delta Center. Wednesday marks the beginning of the 50th anniversary season for the franchise, coming in with aspirations to regain some status in the Western Conference as a potential postseason participant.

With a new season comes new uniforms, and the Jazz are wasting zero time to debut some of their new threads. During the first game of the season, Utah will be dawning their 2023-24 Classic Edition jerseys against Sacramento.

The newly released uniforms give a nod to the franchise’s first few seasons in New Orleans, bringing back the old-school green and yellow color scheme to the trim of the jersey.

However, Tuesday marks one of the few times this jersey will be seen on the court this season, with these purple throwbacks scheduled to appear in only four total games throughout the season. December 13th vs. the New York Knicks, November 27th vs. the New Orleans Pelicans, and January 10th vs. the reigning champion Denver Nuggets.

Therefore, Jazz Nation should appreciate these while they’re here. As Utah takes on the Kings tonight at 7 PM MST, be sure to tune in to get a glimpse of the specialty uniforms paired with a clean new home court design to pair with it.
