Spurs Update Devin Vassell's Stats For Jazz Matchup

In this story:
The Utah Jazz host an undermanned San Antonio Spurs squad on Saturday night at Vivint Arena. The lottery-bound Spurs have a laundry list of players that won’t be suiting up, including Romeo Langford (thigh), Devin Vassell (knee), Isaiah Roby (ankle), and Khem Birch (knee). Also, point guard Tre Jones (foot) is questionable.
The Jazz will still be without starting point guard Collin Sexton (hamstring), while Kelly Olynyk (ankle) and Rudy Gay (nose) are questionable.
Utah will be looking to take advantage of a Spurs team that’s not too concerned about winning games the rest of the way. Currently, San Antonio is a half-game from last place which guarantees a top-six pick and a 14% chance of the No. 1 selection.
Utah will be looking for its fourth win in its last six games . Led by Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler, the Jazz have a real shot at postseason play, but they’ll need to take advantage of the soft part of their schedule.
Utah has four games out of its next seven against lottery teams. This includes a two-game set against the Spurs followed by road games versus the Charlotte Hornets and the Orlando Magic.
The schedule toughens up down the stretch, with 14 out of the last 15 games versus teams that are still in the playoff hunt. If Utah has any chance of making the playoffs for the seventh consecutive year, beating the bottom dwellers is a must.
Tip-off is at 7:00 pm MDT.
