Injury Report Revealed Ahead of Crucial Kings vs. Warriors Matchup

In this story:
The Sacramento Kings are off to a 9-6 start for their 2023-24 campaign but have had unfortunate injury luck on the way. Losing All-Star G De'Aaron Fox with an ankle injury for five consecutive games was not an ideal way to start their championship-minded season, but they have powered through it.
The Kings have gotten veteran F Trey Lyles back on the court, who missed the first 13 games with a calf injury. But, the Kings still have not been seen at full strength, with G Keon Ellis, C Alex Len, and F Keegan Murray suffering injuries the past two weeks.
Despite the injuries, the Kings are in a fantastic position to make a run for the In-Season Tournament crown. In their final group game, the Kings take on their Californian rivals, Golden State Warriors, for the third time this season. With a win against the Warriors, the Kings will finish group play 4-0 and move onto the knockout stage.
Injury Report Kings vs. Warriors 11/28
Kings:
G Keon Ellis - QUESTIONABLE (ankle)
F Keegan Murray - OUT (back)
C Alex Len - OUT (ankle)
Warriors:
F Usman Garuba - OUT (finger)
A healthy Warriors team is something to be afraid of, but Sacramento has proven they can hang with the best regardless of circumstance. The Warriors will have F Draymond Green back after a five-game suspension as the Golden State big-three return to action together.
The Kings being without Murray in such a crucial game is not ideal, as the two-way wing provides value on both sides of the ball. Sacramento could use his defensive specialty against a star-powered Warriors offense, but they will have to do it without the 23-year-old forward.
If Sacramento can get Ellis back in action, that would help defensively, but his offensive struggles might make it hard to keep him on the court in a fast-paced battle.
The Kings will look to Fox to lead the way on offense, with All-Star teammate C Domantas Sabonis as the primary distributor. The Kings have struggled against the Warriors in recent memory, and this is a prime opportunity to change that narrative to secure West Group C in the In-Season Tournament.
The Warriors visit the Kings at 7 P.M. PT/10 P.M. ET.
