The Sacramento Kings are 28 games into their 2023-24 season as they inch closer to the new year. Within those 28 games, the Kings have had their ups and downs, but Sixth Man of the Year candidate Malik Monk has shown he stays up.

The NBA posted their top ten dunks of the season thus far on social media, as Monk was highlighted twice, earning the ninth and first spots.

In the ninth spot, the NBA showed Monk's poster dunk over San Antonio Spurs center Zach Collins from the Kings win on November 17th.

For the best dunk of the season, the NBA highlighted Monk's monster slam over Utah Jazz guard Kris Dunn from the Kings season opener win. Not only did the NBA say this was the best dunk of the season, but they noted it as the second-best play of the season in a separate post.

If Monk did not earn the respect as one of the league's best dunkers before, he has certainly proven himself this season. In Friday's win over the Phoenix Suns, Monk also had another highlight dunk that could have been in the top ten.

Monk has been producing highlights this season at a higher rate than anyone else in the league, and these three highlights were just in the first 28 games of the year. With most of the season still to go, Monk and the Kings have become must-watch TV.
