LeBron James already became the King of Los Angeles when he signed with the Lakers all the way back in 2018. It's been a rollercoaster ride since then but they were able to the job done in 2020 and bring the franchise their 17th championship.

However, they were looking defy all odds and take down the number-one seed Denver Nuggets to reach the NBA Finals for the second time in four years. We all know how it played out by the now and the superstar duo of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray to go with some insane depth faired to be too much.

Immediately after the game, James opted to drop a couple of bombshells on the basketball world. He revealed that he would be okay if his son did not want to end up suiting up with him on the court, shared plans to see how his foot tendon is healing, and hinted at a possible retirement soon.

So many people do not appreciate greatness while they see it and even though The King looked flat-out exhausted while he averaged 24 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, nobody really saw such comments on the way.

The Lakers are giving their superstar forward all the time he needs to reflect on how the season ended and what he wants to do moving forward but betting sites wait for nobody.

In fact, they are already putting up polls for the next franchise that James could possibly join if he choose to continue playing, just not with the purple and gold.

And no, it is not a team like the Golden State Warriors or the Phoenix Suns. It is none other than the New York Knicks.

I'm sure that Knicks fans won't even pay attention to this as they've been put through far too much in recent years when it comes to being let down with star players. The duo of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant were linked there forever and ended up joining the local-rival Brooklyn Nets instead.

Donovan Mitchell even came out and revealed that he was ready to join the team but the Cleveland Cavaliers ended up stealing him last offseason.

But things are much different now. The Knicks actually knocked out the Cavs in this year's playoffs and have a legit star point guard leading the way in Jalen Brunson. Julius Randle currently is their best forward option but I'm positive every fan would rather have James.

And beyond just the basketball side of things, the other biggest entertainment market in America is the Big Apple. James could continue his growth of his film studios, player agencies, and personal brands.

This will be a summer for the books!
