Lakers Injury Report: LeBron James Hoping To Improve Health For Denver Tuesday

In this story:

Your Los Angeles Lakers will open their 2023-24 NBA season this Tuesday against the defending champion Denver Nuggets, as they look to spoil ring night in Denver.

LA has been waiting for this moment since the club was swept out of the Western Conference Finals by the Nuggets months ago, and the Lakers believe that they have some unfinished business to attend to.

The franchise put together a strong offseason, where it brought back most of its core from last season, but with some slight upgrades around the edges. The Lakers believe that these moves will allow them to get over the top and ultimately win the NBA title.

Heading into the season, it seems that Los Angeles star LeBron James is as healthy as he has been in recent memory. He finished last season with a foot injury, but you would have never known how he was performing.

But James worked all offseason to get back into shape for the new year, and he is very motivated to get things started. He provided an update on his health as the team is about to open the new year.

James remains as one of the top players in the NBA today, giving LA a true superstar talent. Alongside him is co-star Anthony Davis, who signed a massive extension to remain in Los Angeles for the foreseeable future.

Davis is the key to the Lakers season, especially given the fact that James is entering his 21st season in the league. James has taken steps for Davis to take the torch as the face of the Lakers, but it remains to be seen if Davis will do so.

Either way, James seems to be in good spirits as the Lakers open their season against Denver, and that is a great thing for all involved. It’s wheels up starting Tuesday, and the Lakers should be in for a great year.
